Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Nalepa Labs LLC ("Nalepa Labs", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website located at https://nalepalabs-tools.com (the "Site"). It describes what these technologies are, the categories we use, the choices available to you, and how you can manage your preferences. This Cookie Policy supplements, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy.
This Cookie Policy applies only to the Site. It does not apply to the downloadable Roth Conversion Calculator (the "Software" or "the Calculator"). The Software runs entirely within your web browser, fully offline. It sets no cookies, makes no network calls, and transmits no data to Nalepa Labs or anyone else. Nothing in this Cookie Policy describes any behavior of the Software.
Strictly necessary cookies are used as described below. Non-essential cookies are not set unless and until you opt in through our consent banner where consent is required. By continuing to use the Site, you accept the use of strictly necessary cookies and the terms of this Cookie Policy; your consent to any non-essential cookies is given only through the consent banner, not by continued browsing.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website operator.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by a party other than the website operator are called "third-party cookies." Cookies may be "session cookies," which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent cookies," which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
In addition to cookies, websites may use related technologies such as local storage and similar identifiers. In this Cookie Policy, references to "cookies" include these similar technologies where the context permits.
2. How We Use Cookies on the Site
The Site is a static marketing website. We aim to keep our use of cookies minimal and to load non-essential cookies only after you have given consent where consent is required.
To help us manage cookies and honor your choices, the Site uses a consent-management platform provided by Termly (our "consent-management provider"). This tool displays a consent banner and applies auto-blocking, which is designed to prevent non-essential and analytics cookies from loading until you have opted in to those categories. As a result:
- Strictly necessary and preference cookies may be set as needed for the Site to function and to remember your choices.
- Analytics and other non-essential cookies do not load by default. They load only if and after you opt in through the consent banner, and only if such categories are enabled on the Site.
We do not currently enable analytics or advertising cookies on the Site. If we enable any such category in the future, our consent banner and this Cookie Policy will reflect that, and non-essential cookies will continue to load only after you opt in where consent is required.
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Site to operate and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences or navigating the Site. The Site cannot function properly without these cookies. Because they are strictly necessary, they do not require your consent.
This category includes a cookie set by our consent-management provider to record your cookie preferences (see Section 4).
3.2 Preference Cookies
Preference cookies allow the Site to remember non-essential choices you make (for example, a display preference) to provide a more personalized experience. The cookie that records your cookie-consent selections is not a preference cookie — it is strictly necessary and is described in Sections 3.1 and 4. The Site does not currently set optional preference cookies; if any are introduced, they will load only where permitted and, where consent is required by law, after you opt in.
3.3 Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies would allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we could measure and improve the performance of the Site. Analytics cookies are off by default and are not currently enabled on the Site. If we enable analytics in the future, these cookies will load only after you opt in through our consent banner where consent is required, and we will update this Cookie Policy accordingly.
We do not use the Site to serve targeted advertising, and we do not enable advertising or social-media tracking cookies on the Site.
4. Consent-Management Provider Cookie
To remember your cookie choices and apply them on future visits, our consent-management provider (Termly) sets a cookie or uses similar local storage on your device. This record allows the Site to honor your selections so that you are not repeatedly asked for the same consent, and so that non-essential categories remain blocked unless and until you opt in. This record is treated as strictly necessary for the operation of the consent mechanism.
5. Managing Your Cookie Choices
You have several ways to control cookies on the Site.
5.1 Consent Preferences Link
You can review and change your cookie choices at any time by clicking the "Consent Preferences" link in the footer of the Site. This reopens the consent banner, where you can grant or withdraw consent for each non-essential category. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.
5.2 Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can usually set your browser to block or delete cookies, or to alert you when a cookie is being set. The steps differ by browser, so please refer to your browser's help resources. Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Site may not function properly.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") signal, and some browsers and extensions support the "Global Privacy Control" ("GPC") signal, which communicate a preference not to be tracked. Where required by applicable law, the Site, through our consent-management provider, is designed to recognize and honor GPC and similar opt-out preference signals as a valid request to opt out of non-essential cookies. Because there is no common industry standard for how DNT signals should be interpreted, the Site may not respond to DNT signals in all cases.
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use, changes in applicable law, or for other operational reasons. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this Cookie Policy. We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Cookie Policy.
